Swedish Massage

The most common type of massage is Swedish massage therapy. It involves soft, long, kneading strokes, as well as light, rhythmic, tapping strokes, on topmost layers of muscles. This is also combined with movement of the joints. By relieving muscle tension, Swedish therapy can be both relaxing and energizing.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is best for giving attention to certain painful, stiff "trouble spots" in your body. The massage therapist uses slow, deliberate strokes that focus pressure on layers of muscles, tendons, or other tissues deep under your skin. Though less rhythmic than other types of massage, deep tissue massage can be quite therapeutic -- relieving chronic patterns of tension and helping with muscle injuries, such as back sprain.

Sports Massage

Sports massage uses a variety of approaches to help athletes in training -- before, during, or after sports events. The therapist will use a combination of strokes including deep tissue and stretching to promote flexibility and help prevent injuries.

Pregnancy Massage

During pregnancy, your body goes through major changes. Pregnancy massage can help with these changes by reducing stress, decreasing arm and leg swelling, and relieving muscle and joint pain. Massage may be particularly helpful during a time when medication and other medical options may be more limited. Using specially designed massage pillows, the massage therapist will help get you into a comfortable position for this type of massage.

Heatwave Synergy Stone Massage

SYNERGY STONES blend the deeply relaxing warmth of Hot Stone Massage with the health benefits of Therapeutic bodywork. The receiver experiences a new dimension of relaxation... A Massage unlike any other, and the "SYNERGISTIC" benefits of Soothing Warmth, Custom Pressure and Advanced Massage Techniques.  Used along with other massage techniques, Synergy stones can be quite soothing and relaxing as they transmit heat deep into the body.

Lava Shell Massage

For hundreds of years, South Pacific Islanders have harvested beautiful Tiger Striped Clams for food, and then thrown the shells away.  Now, PerfectSense® Professional has combined these discarded shells with porcelain, creating the world’s most powerful heated massage tool.  When filled with the patented self-heating technology of Lava Gel®, Lava Shells® heat for up to 45-minutes, depending on the method of application, giving you the same heat as a full hot stone massage with just two shells – no electricity of equipment needed.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy offers several advantages including aiding in promoting blood flow and increase blood circulation to muscles and tissue, supplies oxygen to cells, loosens knots, and can release and drain excess fluids.  In cupping therapy, the muscles are tended to with the application of negative pressure. Negative pressure is better to help with pain management than tissue compression.  With the cupping therapy method, the skin, tissue, and muscles are instead pulled upwards to enhance circulation and provide pain management.
